Construction Standards

The City of University Park has its own Procedural Guidelines and Amendments to the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Current Edition). The City has revised or included additional information to portions of NCTCOG's Specifications, and the divisions that are revised are included in the City of University Park General Construction Standards and Details, linked below.

Global Positioning System

The City of University Park has a Global Positioning System (GPS) of 23 GPS monuments throughout the City. These monuments are used for planning, design, and construction activities, and control for aerial mapping. Each monument is marked with a 3.25-inch diameter aluminum disc.
