The Friends of the University Park Public Library is a volunteer group that supports the library through fundraising, advocacy, and sponsoring programs and events.

Become a Library Volunteer and support the library through a variety of roles, such as assisting with programs, shelving books, preparing crafts, or helping with events. Volunteering at the library offers a chance to give back to the community, gain valuable skills, and promote literacy and learning for all ages. Check with library staff for specific opportunities and requirements.

Friends of the University Park Public Library accepts book donations at the PEEK Service Center, located at 4420 Worcola Street, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday. Please have the books in boxes and place onto the tables provided in the foyer of the building. Books donated to Friends of UPPL are sold at book sales and online or are gifted to other institutions to support literacy.
University Park Public Library will accept small donations of books (1-2) on behalf of Friends of UPPL. The library may add to the library collection donated books as replacements of damaged or missing items or as additional copies of popular titles.
The Friends of the University Park Public Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supports the library through donations. Contributions help fund important programs, services, and events. Your donation makes a lasting difference in enriching the library and the community.
To support the library directly, you can also make a donation by contacting the Library Director, Jackie Lott. Your contributions will help enhance library services and resources for the community.
