As Assistant City Manager, Shanna oversees Public Works, Community Development, Engineering, Parks and Recreation, Communications and the University Park Public Library. She has over 27 years of experience in municipal government, having worked in seven different cities in three states, including the cities of Richardson, Farmers Branch, Carrollton and the Town of Addison. She has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas.
