Proposed FY2022 City Budget & Hearing dates

August 20, 2021

On Tuesday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 21, the City Council will hold public hearings so that the public may comment on the City’s FY2022 proposed budget and tax rate. The Council will vote to adopt the FY2022 budget and tax rate during its Tuesday, September 21 meeting. Both Council Meetings will begin at 5 p.m.

The proposed budget for FY2022 totals $56,301,727 across all budgeted funds. The total expenditures in the FY2022 budget represent a 1.9 percent increase from the previous year, which results in a small tax rate decrease to 26.4388 cents per $100 of taxable value.
