Rainbow Trout Stocking in Caruth Park

November 28, 2018

Rainbow Trout Stocking in Caruth Park - Effective November 29

Caruth is stocked with some rainbow trout!

The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department provides a “Neighborhood Fishin’” program, which takes place in the summer and winter seasons.

Trout anglers can begin fishing in Caruth Park on November 29. Recommended bait includes worms, salmon eggs and cheese and the fish bag limit is five fish per day. Adults 17 and older will need a Freshwater Fishing Stamp License if they wish to participate. The proceeds from the license fees all go to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to support conservation efforts.

You can search for a license retailer here: https://tpwd.texas.gov/business/licenses/online_sales/find_retailer.phtml?city
