10 a.m. Update:  UP Public Library is open.  Story time will be held as scheduled at 10:45 a.m.

8 a.m. Update:  Sanitation trucks will run two hours late today.  City Hall and the Peek Service Center are open.

5 a.m. Update:  HPISD and SMU are closed today.  Surface streets throughout University Park are snow-packed with ice underneath.  This is the fourth largest March snow event in Dallas-Fort Worth history.  Snowfall has come to an end.  Temperatures will not reach above freezing until this afternoon.  No power outages have been reported in University Park.

NTTA Road Conditions - 4: 45 a.m.
  • All NTTA roadways are open and passable, but drivers must be aware of changing and challenging driving conditions throughout this winter weather event.
  • NTTA estimates that they have received between 3-5 inches of snow on NTTA roads from 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. In most places, there is ice beneath the snow.
  • NTTA plow trucks are working to removing snow from the inside and middle lanes first then removing snow from the right lane on the roadways.
  • Trucks are also loaded with either salt or MD-20 and are applying de-icing material
