Residents asked to complete community survey

April 6, 2015
Deadline to participate is Friday, April 10.  The City of University Park is asking residents to spend a few minutes to complete a survey on City services, programs and communications. Households received the questionnaire in their March utility bill.

2015 Resident Survey

The survey ask residents to rank services and concerns using a point scale, or headings of “very satisfied” to “very dissatisfied.”  The survey also has space for expanded written comments on existing services, new services that the City should provide, and other thoughts residents want to convey.  Findings from surveys conducted in 2005, 2008 and 2011 have helped City staff improve services and procedures.

Return completed survey by mail or participate online

Households can participate in the survey in one of two ways.  Since the questionnaire includes a self-addressed and stamped envelope, it can be easily returned by mail to the survey firm, or it can be completed online.  Survey content is the same on the printed and online versions.

To participate online, residents must type in a secure website address that’s provided on the left side of the front flap of the mailed survey form, and enter a code number that is uniquely assigned to them.

Whether returning the survey by mail or answering it online, residents have until April 10 to complete the survey.  All responses will be confidential. Survey results will be presented to the public in May, in the Arbor, and online.
