Storm Debris Removal

October 13, 2014
Tree limb and brush collection free-of-charge until November 3

The October 2 storm caused significant tree damage throughout University Park.  Beginning Friday, October 3 and continuing until Monday, November 3, curbside collection of tree limbs and brush will be free-of-charge.

Tree limb and brush collection done by quadrants

Crews will work clockwise through the four City quadrants seen in the map below.  Beginning in the northeast quadrant, City crews will progress through the southeast, southwest and northwest sections.  This pattern will continue until all storm-related tree limbs and brush piles are removed.

UPDATE:  Monday, October 13 -- Most of the storm debris has been collected.

No need to call or enter an online request for storm debris collection

Now through November 3, there is no need to call or enter an online request for City collection of storm debris.

How residents can assist the City with the storm debris collection process

  • Residents should separate brush from bulky items, and cut and bundle brush and tree limbs in 4 foot lengths.
  • Residents should not put storm debris in plastic bags for alley pick-up.
