Authorized Companies to Perform Direct Connections

Thank you for registering your alarm system for monitoring by the City of University Park. If you have any questions about the process, please contact the Direct Alarm office at 214-987-5372.

The companies listed below are participating with the University Park Police Department in performing the work that is necessary to connect your alarm system directly into the Police Department Monitoring Center. You may use any licensed and insured alarm service company that you choose or you may select one from the list of licensed and insured alarm service companies listed down below. The cost for the company to perform this service is between the homeowner/business owner and the alarm service company.

To assist these companies, please have the brand name and model of you current equipment when you call. This can normally be found on the control board or inside cover of your alarm system.  You may also find a brand name on the alarm keypad by a door.

If you are moving into a residence that has been previously monitored by Direct Alarm you will need to have your system tested for proper working order, the existing alarm system codes removed and updated to your new code(s), and have the communications tested to verify that the system is connected directly to the Police Department. Please contact our office and we will refer you to the alarm company that has worked on your system in the past or recommend a new company if you would prefer other options.

* If your home is currently monitored by Direct Alarm you do not need to contact a company. If you would like to have your system checked or serviced, please contact our office and we will refer you to the alarm company that has worked on your system.
