In compliance with State orders, the University Park Community Development Department is committed to maintaining essential businesses, including construction activities.  Our objectives are to keep the community and workers as safe as possible.  City inspectors review each jobsite daily and will take action if these objectives are jeopardized.

The Community Development Department encourages social distancing on all job sites and the use of face masks when social distancing is not possible.  Inspectors are using proper personal protective equipment on occupied inspections and if residents have safety concerns, inspections can be rescheduled.

At this time, while all permitting and inspection services are available, Community Development offices at the Peek Service Center remain closed to the public.  For effective and efficient service, you are urged to use electronic communications.

Please contact Community Development at 214-987-5411 or permits@uptexas.org if you have questions.
