The City of University Park welcomes the opportunity to recognize residents, businesses, organizations and City-sponsored special events for their worthy accomplishments, milestones, or importance to the community. All proclamation requests must have a direct connection to the City, or have special significance to the City, region or state as determined by the Mayor.
All proclamation requests should be made through the City Secretary’s Office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling Christine Green at 214-987-5302. When submitting the request, please provide complete and detailed information about the person, business, organization or event that you want to recognize. To accommodate preparation and scheduling, all requests should be made at least 14 days in advance of the occasion being recognized.
The City reserves the right to decline any proclamation request without providing further details. All requests will receive a response. Do not assume your request is approved until you are contacted by a City staff member.
