Food Establishment and Alcohol Sales Permits: The City contracts with Dallas County Health and Human Services for food establishment and environmental inspections. All facilities are inspected twice annually with any additional inspections as required. Inspection reports and scores are posted on the City’s website at: Food Establishment Inspection Reports

Board and Committee applications: The City Council appoints members to the City’s resident Boards and Committees in June of even years, in conjunction with the General Election. For more information about the Boards and Committees, click here.
Preservation and maintenance of City records (ordinances, contracts, resolutions, etc.): The City Secretary can provide Certified Copies of all ordinances and resolutions upon request.

Guidelines on City-issued proclamations: The City of University Park welcomes the opportunity to recognize residents, businesses, organizations and City-sponsored special events for their worthy accomplishments, milestones, or importance to the community. All proclamation requests must have a direct connection to the City, or secondarily, have special significance to the region or state. All proclamation requests should be made through the City Secretary’s Office by email at citysecretary@uptexas.org, or by calling Christine Green at 214-987-5302. When submitting the request, please provide complete and detailed information about the person, business, organization or event that you want to recognize. To accommodate preparation and scheduling, all requests should be made at least 14 days in advance of the occasion being recognized. The City reserves the right to decline any proclamation request without providing further details. All requests will receive a response. Do not assume your request is approved until you are contacted by a City staff member.
